Short description of Project

Improving prediction models of ultrafine particles in urban environments using statistical learning algorithms, for use in epidemiological studies.

Short description of internship with partner

I work with non-academic partners (INSPQ and Health Canada), using data on air pollutants generated by them in order to improve exposure assessment models of ultrafine particles. I will also use novel urban forest data generated with LiDAR technology to improve the models. These models will subsequently be used by these partners in epidemiological studies on air pollution.
